Are You Eligible For A Job Grant?
To determine
your
eligibility
for a Job
Grant you
must meet
the
following
requirements:
-
You work
full-time
or at
least 16
hours
per week
-
You
expect
to work
for at
least 5
weeks
-
You have
been
claiming
one of
the
following
benefits
for at
least 26
weeks
before
starting
your
job:

receive the
Job Grant if
your partner
begins
working at
least 24
hours a week
and you lose
your
benefits as
a result of

Much Is A
Job Grant?
The amount of Job Grant you will get depends on your circumstances:
- £100 for single people and couples and civil partnerships without children
- £250 for lone parents and couples and civil partnerships with children
How Do You Apply For Job Grants?
You may automatically receive a Job Grant if you become
eligible. You may need to insure that you tell your
Jobcentre Plus office that you have begun working. They
will pay you in the same manner that you have received
previous benefits.
