Council Tax
Benefit: Are You Eligible?
The Council Tax Benefit is a means-based benefit. The
amount that you are eligible to receive depends on your
individual circumstances. Council Tax Benefits help people with
no or little income to pay their council tax bill in all
or part. The Council Tax Benefit is similar to the
Housing Benefit as it is paid by the government and is
distributed through your local authority.
